Wedding Bouquet

My lovely sister is getting married today! I am so happy for her and her new husband, and truly hope that they have a long and happy marriage together.

These photos are from my own wedding, over 6 years ago! I can’t believe it’s been this long. It seems like just last year we made the leap into marriage and the long trek north to live in the Pacific North West. It’s been a wild ride, with super highs and some pretty devastating lows. Through it all we’ve been stronger and more solid because of it all.

These photos were not taken by me, but by our lovely photographer. Out of all the money spent, I think the best investment was the photographer, since that is all you will have left after the wedding. Gifts come and go, but the pictures tell the story of your wedding.

Wedding Rings

I am also highly amused by the reflection of our photographer in my husbands ring. I never noticed it before until editing the photo for this post. I had a few moments of hysterical laughter, then tried my hardest to remember his name. It took me a little while but I found him online again, Mando Marlos. My bouquet even made it into his portfolio, which of course made me go “awwww”. He did a great job, and hopefully my sisters pictures will mean as much to her as mine do to me.
