I love how turning a picture from color to black and white can make them seem just that more eerie. It was rather creepy being in the underground of Seattle, but the lack of color AND the blurry people walking around makes it look rather ghostly.
I thought of making them completely monochromatic but decided that adding a little bit of color into them gave them more of an aged photo look rather than strictly black and white.
There were a ton of old signs spread throughout the underground. All of them were in some sort of disrepair but a lot of them still have bright colors on them! It must be from being in the dark all these years and not having to deal with the sunlight fading their brightness.
But then again, it’s a black and white picture so you really can’t tell how bright it is! Silly me.
