The one thing that photography has been able to do for me is let me see how beautiful the world is around me, even when things aren’t perfect.
We were walking on the beach at night and normally that is one of my favorite times to hit the beach, it’s very peaceful and soothing to the soul. Except this night the flood light on top of the lifeguard station was turned on and really took away from the normally peaceful ambiance of the night.
As we were leaving I was struck at how stunning the sand looked under the floodlight coming from the lifeguard tower. It made all of the little broken pieces of shells shimmer like someone through glitter all over the sand. When I stopped to take some pictures my husband had no idea what I was doing
